HDD SHOP SERVICES

We provide 3rd party drill rod inspection and certification in accordance with API RP 7-G guidelines on range 1 and 2 drill rod.  Connections and tool joints are checked for proper dimensions and cracking.  Tubes are inspected for wall thickness and straightness. 

Any joints that fail inspection are repaired in accordance with strict industry guidelines.  Threads are recut by trained machinists to new manufacture dimensions.  Threads are the inspected and verified by our QA and results are recorded for the customer.  Bent rods are straightened by cross-roll straightening at a fraction of the cost of new rod. 

With CNC and Manual lathes we are able to manufacture or repair any cross over sub, saver sub, adapter or any other component.  All threads are checked with certified calibrated thread gages and measuring equipment before shipment to customer.  All new manufacture parts include mill certification and material testing report.

We manufacture and repair all types of hole openers and reamers.  Fixed blade reamers are available with PDC cutters for hard rock drilling, bullet tooth, shark tooth or Kut-Rite crushed carbide for soft to medium formations.  Send us your used reamers for complete rebuild or replacement of broken teeth/cutters.

We manufacture and repair split bit reamers built to your specifications with your choice of cone types.  Mill tooth cones for soft to medium formations, TCI tooth cones for harder formations.  We offer new, premium re-run or re-tip cones.

We carry new, re-run and re-tip tri-cone bits and PDC bits for sale.  Our shop also re-tips mill tooth bits, replaces worn or broken PDC cutters and hardfaces gauge/wear areas.
